The stolen view

This is a view that we will soon not have... our neighbours cottage has been bought by a property developer who doesn't have an end plan for the cottage other than he is going to develop it. He has told another neighbour he isn't sure... perhaps air bnb or mother in law... harumph! His plans were to double the size of the house which would involve building a two storey house in this view from our playroom... in the end after 5 planning applications l think we might.. and l am not sure but we might... just see the top of the distant birch tree on the left... it is a view l love when the sun sets at this time of year and we will definitely miss these beautiful silhouettes.
The roof at the bottom of the picture is currently a tin roof on a delightful old stone potting/tool shed which will be demolished.
