Rough Round the Edges

An energetic singing workshop today with Wendy Weatherby. We covered a lot of ground, literally and musically - Wendy believes in walking about while singing and trying to maintain your part. We had a go at improvising some new words for one of the songs. And, at the end of the day, imitating the sound of the bagpipes. Not the usual sort of thing we do, but it was fun, if a bit rough around the edges.

TM and I had a walk around the Meadows afterwards, with a coffee stop at Victor Hugo. It has mutated from delicatessen to cafe/takeaway. I liked it better the way it was ....

Walking back to the bus stop we passed this piece of street art/graffiti.  It's on some hoarding which attempts to conceal the redevelopment of the old Royal Infirmary. Not sure what it's all about but at least it is colourful.
