St Émilion

The RAF Association had its AGM in a Château in the St Émilion area. Lets be honest, we went for the wine, not the acceptance of last year’s minutes and the outline of the activity for 2020. So, a meal accompanied by fantastic Grand Cru Classé wine was the highlight. Extra pic shows one of the arches at the château. Main pic is a 12th century house in St Émilion, which we visited afterwards. The laundry and wind-worn walls finish the pics off. Mrs SoL off to the UK tomorrow. Cooking for myself, so expecting significant weight loss over the next couple of weeks.
