Rose Remembered

My best blipbuddy, Hildasrose, sent me a bouquet of flowers for my recent BIG birthday.  The flowers lasted a long time. Even though I am not good with flowers, I tried hard with these but eventually I had to move them off display. However, I kept a few of the roses as they have potential for interesting photography.  This evening I isolated one of the roses and used focus stacking plus lighting to keep the background black. It was fun to do and I am learning more about lighting this type of subject.  I'm sure my other blip buddy, Black Tulip, will put me straight as she is the expert with flower photography.

My birthday flowers are now preserved forever in Blip land.
