Started after tea and crosswords by surfing for wedding outfits but annoyed that no matter what search terms we use the same old sites come up and the hackneyed ‘mother of the bride’ outfits fill the screen. Remembered I bought a lovely jacket from a nearby shop once so we popped down to Woburn Sands and amazingly found a couple of pieces in the end of their sale. The dress could be the right one (perfect colours) but even if not it’s a lovely one and a great bargain.
Straight off after that to pick up P and go to the pub to meet up with A&N and Mt&H with the children for my birthday lunch. Tasty, kids enjoyed the playground, and lovely to have a surprise cake that AR helped to make (extra)
I helped P do his food shopping afterwards (he’s not using his car at the moment as he fell recently and was a bit dizzy) and we went back and sorted out all the photos he’d picked from our recent palace trip.
Quick tea and catch up with S before back for an evening of knitting and lasagne.
