View from a bridge.

Day out in London to meet a friend, have lunch and go to the theatre. First extra is the ceiling of the Banqueting House in Whitehall.

The second is the statue of Robert Burns in the Embankment Gardens, with the Adelphi building behind. This is where I used to work, next to the terrace you can see (the dark space), ideal for parties - no time for those, of course!  The view from the office windows took in the Thames and the London Eye being built. Civil Servants were moved out not long after I retired to somewhere less stunning!
