Prize!

It was only second prize in the music quiz at our 2 year anniversary All Together Now celebration last night but still pretty good. 
We sat on tables of 9, there were 5 on ours who knew each other and four we knew less well. A good ratio I think and a good way to get chatting to others. The gentlemen next to me was an organist and knew our church organist well, his wife was the singer. 
During the meal we had a music quiz to do: pictures, dates, colours - all music related featured and then we had 20 musical intros to identify. Each team/table was named after a song in our repertoire, ours was ‘Kiss Me’. The winners scored 79 and we got 74 and one of these lovely prizes each! Great fun and what could be better than chocolate and fizz?
A nice walk up to church this morning, very spring like. The first tulips appearing in our garden amongst a mass of spring colour and the frog chorus in neighbour,  airedaleknitter’s pond.
