We decided to drive to Bowness ....... perhaps foolish on a Sunday afternoon (even on a cold breezy March one) but I did have plans B,C and D. 

Luck was with us and a car was pulling out of a space as we approached the end of the parking area on the Glebe. 

Just a walk around the shore and I didn't take many photos.  The prom was surprisingly quiet.
