BIGGER OWLS
Today I took a drive to the small but beautiful area of ancient woodland close to where my workmate D lived in Framingham Earl, and from where I blipped an Amethyst Deceiver on October 30th. Nothing much to be seen today in the way of fungi due to the snow. But on my last visit I'd noticed this owl carved onto the top of a tree trunk. Today I spotted that a second, smaller owl has now been carved into a niche on the side. I'd made a mental note to blip the owl at some point, so today's the day and I now get two owls for the price of one!
I love the white 'hat' the larger owl is wearing ... lol
