Friend's

Thank you all for your lovely messages yesterday.

I actually didn't think it would hit me as hard as it did. My dad apologised for not being there all these years. And he spoke of happy times in my childhood. I'm glad I went to see him. He is in organ failure and is skin and bones . His tummy is very large due to his liver and kidney.
In-between his confusion we had a good chat. I spoke to the nurses before I left and they are going to stop with all the medical stuff and start palitive care. She said he would go quickly. I don't think I will get to see him again. And I'm very saddened by that.

I came home to these lovely flowers and chocolates outside my door. They were from a friend.
