Dereliction

A few weeks ago this was a house which required some work. The owners got planning permission for an extension and then discovered there were no proper foundations. It had been an old byre originally. As it was a listed building they couldn’t get permission to demolish and so have removed as much as possible. They will now underpin the remaining walls and rebuild to the agreed plans using the as much of the removed stone as possible.
