Walking
I took a walk today. I think this is one of the first times I've ever decided to go for a walk on my own. I took my father's lovely camera along so that I would spend a little longer really appreciating my surroundings and the beautiful things.
There wasn't a question in my mind as to where I would go. I walked to the small train station in my village. Beyond it is an area of marshland which is beautiful to look at. The main reason I go there is for this sign. I cannot put into words how much I love it. I have loved it for so many years and it means a lot to me.
I made a short video (very roughly) of my walk and it is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJL1hiJfOwI for people to enjoy.
This evening my mother, her sister and I went for dinner and then saw Les Miserables at the cinema. It was incredible. The desire to stand up, sing with all of the air in my lungs and cry was so powerful. The music is wonderful.
At 3:30am the baby sibling came online on Fb and we had a short but sweet chat. I miss him so so much. It was nice to have a chat like everything was normal, instead of asking him a thousand questions about what he's been doing and how is Canada etc.
Today was a happy day.
