Three Marys

Had a good look at this stained glass window today in St Mary with St Albans church in Teddington. There are three Mary’s and the window is in memory of a Mary....the beloved wife of Walter Moresby Chinnery who died in 1880 aged 29. Walter was a successful stockbroker and a good national athlete being the ‘Sebastian Coe’ of his time. He and his brother were also Philanthropists and the church benefited greatly from them.
