A different day

Drove to school this morning, dropped child no.1 off and decided to drive home again, via Starbucks of course. As much as I enjoy hanging out at Wellsprings during the day, sometimes only home will do when it's cold and you're tired.

Turns out a friend out this way needed some company anyway and I needed a babysitter so it was all in the plan.

I decided to get the train back through to school to pick up my daughter in the afternoon which I've never actually done before. I always drive. It was fun for the kids, and they go free when travelling off peak which is great.

It's been a strange day really. A different kind of day than usual.

It's over now though and sleep calls.
