March On The Mono

One by one plot dug over this morning, removed the weeds & unknown things growing. Planted up with red onion sets. A few left over were smalls & put in a pot.

The twigs with buds each corner are flowering currant. They were twigs that had been cut off ages ago & lying on the wet ground, yet they are looking like they're going to fully leaf & flower. Stuck in the ground incase they take, if not they might leaf a little green & a few flowers.

It was quite nice to spend a little time out in the garden, although still not warm & dry enough to do a lot of digging over.
