Flight to Manchester

I had a meeting in Manchester today and had chosen to fly up. The taxi picked me up at 6.00pm. I landed in Manchester at 8.40am and when I switched my phone back on I had a message from hubby saying that daughter #1 was poorly. She did not go to school. My meeting started at 10am and we were done by 1 pm. British airways had sent me a text message to say that my flight home had been cancelled. I called them and they put me on an earlier flight.
I met my friend Netty for lunch. It was good to catch up with her. I shan't see her again until Easter.
My flight home touched down in Heathrow at 6pm and I was home by 7pm.
