Ann

A different sort of event today. There was an event to celebrate the life of a local Labour Party activist called Ann who died just after Christmas. She was an amazing person, very welcoming to everyone and she will be greatly missed. The event was lovely, with local councillors talking about their memories of her, a choir that Ann belonged to singing some songs, tea and cake and then we finished by singing ‘on ilkley Moor bar tat’ as Ann was a Yorkshire woman. The photo shows the singing led by the choir. It was a lovely occasion.
