Turing snowman
I spent most of the day in a meeting - so much to do, so little time!! There was lots of snow on the campus, but the only snowman appeared to be this chap outside the Alan Turing building, owing his existence perhaps to the playful nature of mathematicians. (There was no snowman in evidence outside the computing department.) The ghostly figure above the tree trunk on the right is actually a sculpture, made of wire I think. Very effective.
Come mid-afternoon I was standing waiting for a taxi looking at the snow on the stump sculpture and wondering whether to take a photo. My gosh, I could have blipped a blipper in action!
