The Wind Up And The Pitch

Today was Jon's day and we went to an Oakland A's spring training baseball game.  This was something he'd wanted to do for a long time.  After being a Red Sox fan for many years, he switched to the A's because they have the lowest payroll in major league baseball.  I think but am not sure that the movie Moneyball opened his eyes to this.  At any rate, it was a beautiful day for a ballgame.  The hot dogs were good and the ice cream sandwiches were like homemade with chocolate chip cookies and good ice cream.  There was lots of people watching too.  

Tomorrow will be our last day.  Hoping to visit a music museum and while Tom will be going to work during the day, we'll treat him to dinner in thanks for his wonderful hospitality over the last few days.
