The Hawea River Wave
Today the walking group parked at the car park at Camphill Road, and walked from there up the true left of the Hawea River. Some of us had our lunch by the footbridge, others on a handy seat, while the rest went on to the very windy Lake Hawea. For me all up was about 16,000 steps, or about 12K. This photo is taken at one of the River Waves. There are 2. The other wave is the first extra. The other extras missed the cut. The cattle are Belted Galloway. I like the mysterious photo looking down a sunlit bank. We had a nice cuppa at a local cafe on the way home.
Another super walk with good friends.
