Aiguille Noire

This picture is from Friday. Just tremendous how much snow fell in the previous day - light fluffy big flakes with big accumulation of more than a meter by my estimation. This is down in Val Veny. After lunch we went to play in the snow instead of skiing. I made a trench in the field beside this cabin and then we dug a tunnel under the snow. What a kick for the kids to worm their way through it and high anxiety should it collapse. It didn’t. Even when I made a go of it. A bit tighter than for the kids and I had to slither my way out. Hahaha Too bad I can’t load videos here.
