Bottoms up!

We were lucky this afternoon ...... the sun was shining though it was a bit breezy ....... very pleasant weather for our walk!

We decided to have another trip to Westgate Woods ..... seeing as last week it was cut short by a downpour!

There was lots of life about ...... we saw Chaffinches, Goldfinches, Magpies, Great Tits & a Kestrel!

The best of all was this little Wren that was flitting about in a nearby tree ....... I did manage to get this one shot ..... I also got a lot of 'there he was gone' shots ..... you know the ones!

This little Robin posed beautifully for me ......so he had to be included!

I love Teasels .... so thought I'd include them too.

As we were heading back to the car some big black clouds rolled in ..... you could feel the temperature drop several degrees when the sun disappeared! We made it home just before the rain started! Result!
