Finishing Touch

The bin count is now ten.  Finishing off with the gold paint picking out the letters is a slow job, three coats but the end result is very pleasing.   Dan - the marketing man -  cheerfully pointed out that the smart bins made the old cast iron lamp post look shabby and asked if that was next job.  It turns out that the Wharf cafe doors have been chosen ahead of it!

A bright start to the day but by lunchtime rain had arrived and after a good afternoon in Aberystwyth the drive home was somewhat interesting as water running off the hillsides turned the road into a river in places.   Nice bit of Wensleydale with my fruit cake tonight - Thanks to Norfolkdoc and W who recently converted me to this delicious concept.
