One week into dental brace

I had a bracket re-stuck onto front tooth today, first week has been more painful and difficult to eat than I thought. I hope it stays intact ... ( I had a front tooth removed and I’m having the remaining less crowded teeth rearranged in a nice curve!) always wanted nice teeth, had the upper teeth sorted 15 years ago ( with 2 teeth removed)
