Joe's classmates

Today I went to Joe's school to work with his P7 classmates (42 enthusiastic, fun and creative kids). The school have raised money for a memorial bench to be carved and placed in the nature garden at school (beautiful idea). So we thought it would be good for his old classmates to come up with ideas of things to be carved. They talked about Joe, told stories, remembered funny things about him and smiled.

The weird thing is that I feel blessed to be able to share that with them. They told me he'd think this was all very cool and I agree; he'd be chuffed to bits. Love is the answer folks. It's the only thing. Share, love, be kind and be open to the world around you; what it has to share with you and you with it.
