Meet Me at the Rink

In fifty years, I swear I have never seen this sign before, not to mention the mural. I love this sign! I want to go back over there at night and see it lit up. I want to go roller skating! Don’t you want wings on your feet??  


This is across from the physical therapy place where I go to get confused every other week. I am sitting wrong, standing wrong, walking wrong and reaching incorrectly. My brain hurts from trying to figure it out. She took a picture of me properly propped against the wall, balancing a ball with my butt, and I look and feel like I’m going to tip over backwards. And, although she didn’t say it, all I could think of was the line from Mrs. Maisel, just before she goes on stage:  “Tits up!!”
