I made a very smooth journey across town this evening to carry on the voluntary work we provide in Edinburgh’s prison. Earlier the sun shone and the temperature crept up encouragingly. Far less encouraging is the news of Italy closing down its entire State to combat the spread of C19. A difficult time for my colleagues trying to continue their business there. Even more difficult for all Italian citizens at this time.
