Exhibition

This is the new exhibition at the Tretyakov gallery showing art relating to Russia fairy tales. So many good photos but sadly can only show one! There was a forest room, a sea room and a cave room. Along with lots of bears, wolves etc. Russian fairy tales tend to feature, as my taxi driver told me on the way from the airport, the lazy Russian who always wants something for nothing. Often, as in the Grimm tales and similar, they are warning stories as much as happy ones. The lazy hero is generally left with nothing for their efforts.
