Bodmin 500 metres

I had to go to Kingsteignton this afternoon so on the way back I came home along the Humber Road. It's very windy and very muddy but a little way along is the huge propellor (or ship's screw) that marks a gateway. 

There's been an addition since I last stopped here, a milestone from the Camel Trail which suggests that Bodmin Town centre is 500 metres. That could be a bit misleading to unsuspecting walkers because it's a bit more than that and it'll be dark before they get there. 

Anyway, it makes a nice little addition to the tableau by the roadside.
