Off island

We are off to tend our garden in France. This morning the ealry ferry out of Lochmaddy. The healdand in the image is called Rubha nnam Pleac which is meant to mean 'Headland of the caly soil' but it doesn't look very clay like to me so I susect there is an older Norse rooot involved or perhpas my knowledge of Galeic is noot up to it - which is sadly quite likely.
In the car then and drive and drive. Eleven hours to my sister in Bath seemed a long way.
