Happy husband...

Dinner awaiting the husband when he got home from a long day in the office.  Very sadly, it wasn't with me - the move has meant he is having to work at his old office far more than we anticipated and so my parents are being wonderful and offering food and shelter slightly more often than we had thought.  The picture came through to me with the caption 'they are amazing' - so thank you to the husband and parents for today's blip! 

The youngest was totally unimpressed with nursery this morning, which probably has more to do with a lack of sleep than anything else.  He didn't go to sleep until past 8.30 last night - if only I had just an ounce of his stamina!  The eldest had a good day, came home with rock cakes - they needed cooking, but it's great that he did it at school.  He came home the other day with tales about how register had been in the hall because aliens had landed in the classroom - they'd come down from space.  And indeed, at school there is a very creative net hanging up where the 'aliens' were captured - this is all for science week.  Tomorrow they are in gardens for most of the day for outdoor learning and then on Thursday they have an Olympic athlete visiting and all children have to have PE kit for the day, so that sounds like fun!
