Skip....Skip....Skipper

I did find another mantid down on the fennel, and actually got some quite good shots of her eyes and mouth parts, but then I thought no, not again. They are not the prettiest of creatures, and I want pretty.

The monarchs were flying lazily around, but declined to co-operate, so this little Southern Grass-dart (Ocybadistes walkeri hypochlorus) is the selection for today.

A bigger skipper.

Thank you all very much for the *s, hearts and subs for my full-frontal bee. She has turned to be my all-time winner for most hearts. So thanks to you, she spent many hours in first place in the Spotlight, which was a great delight.
