This dry land
Ruby and I were up early today and went wandering. We walked up to the Bluff Jetty and then up on The Bluff itself and over the "neck" to Petrel Cove. The surf was up there and some brave souls risking the rocks to catch the waves. I took 37 photos on our ramble and it has been a very difficult choice today as which one to blip.
In the end I chose this one. It's taken from the western side of The Bluff looking towards Newland Head Conservation Park. That's West Island you can see.
While it's not the crispest of images I liked the colour of the dry summer grass against the cloudy sky. It was still quite warm by the way and those clouds didn't hang around. It was a fairly hot day today.
