Lambs

This morning I drove over to Kent to meet a friend for a dog walk. She has two GSP dogs and Xena loved walking with them. The amount of mud was of epic proportions, the kind that when you step into it your boot gets stuck and if you pull your foot out too quickly you are bound to fall over. We walked through a field of sheep with lambs so of course the dogs were back on leads by then, but Xena was not that interested in them as she was too busy discovering the palatable joy of sheep poo!

Thankfully I had brought my portable shower to wash her down before putting her back in the car as she had changed colour from being a ginger dog to a dark brown dog!

It's already end of university term for Thomas on Friday but he is going on his college rugby tour to Bucharest so will only be home next week. For those that don't know, university rugby tours to places like Bucharest are a euphemism for a three day pub crawl - I am already worrying about it before he has even left! When he is back he has so much university work that he has to spend the holiday studying. It's all very well having only 8 week terms but the holidays are for catchup and studying and not relaxing.

I am not surprised to hear that Coronavirus has now been confirmed as pandemic. I think we will be living with it for many more months, and I guess we have to be careful but not to fear it and to stop panicking. The percentage of the population at risk of death from the virus is very small.
