British Science Week

We had another session with local students today. This time the group consisted of eight female A-Level Biology students. They were an absolute delight, asking lots of good questions and enthusiastically complementing the tasks we set them. As well as showing them the latest technology we use in our work, we also had a session explaining some of older sensors and gauges that we have, like this no longer used rain gauge which we think dates from the 1940s. It is so beautifully and carefully manufactured.
