Reynard Relaxing

We had a lovely walk to the Top Field with my daughter and Frankie dog. Nice to meet the usual suspects and their owners. Jake the very elderly blind and deaf terrier, Bailey the entire golden retriever who drooled when he met Ollie, who is in season, and tiny Jimmy who was also very interested.

We heard gunshots from the direction of the farm earlier this week and worried for Reynard. Lovely to see the wily old fox having a siesta in his usual position in number thirteen disused glasshouse this afternoon. I like how the points of his teeth can just be seen.

PS I heard my first chiffchaff of 2020 calling its name here at home. Heard one at Fishers Green earlier in the week.
