River of Flowers

Wednesday: Life in the Cracks

Got up around 7am, put the washing out on the line, very windy and cold, by 11am the rain arrived, brought dry clothes in!
Lots of plants in my mini wildflower meadow https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/4335995 set seed and germinate in the gaps between the block paving.
Today I discovered Heuchera, teasel, Mexican daisy https://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/32487/Erigeron-karvinskianus/Details, purple toadflax
https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2164622 and an attractive spiky grass. Lifting them without damaging is tricky, I have a well worn potato knife which is paper thin and perfect for the job!
I was working between heavy showers but managed to fill a tray with my rescued seedlings, they got nicely soaked with the rain.
MrD went for a walk to the beach between showers - we are both keeping active so as not to be dwelling on the  Coronavirus https://twitter.com/i/events/1219057585707315201 epidemic.

Stay healthy everyone :-))
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
