Day 1 - Skiing

Not the best weather but improving through the day. Sleeting down as we took the first lift, snowing as we took the slightly higher second lift and thereafter sometimes snowing and sometimes misty.  Visibility was not good and one of our group skied right off the piste without noticing until the snow suddenly got deep! It took him a while to get back and took a lot of energy so after that we headed for home.
On another level, it was Arthur's first birthday today and I sent the parents this picture together with birthday wishes. There is 1 table, 1 decorated pole and one lift in the picture, though I could also use it next year as there are several "two"s as well!
