Spotted gum - organic abstract

This pic looks a bit inorganic - rusty bolts in stone? That's what attracted me, along with the regular shapes trying to make hexagons. But truly, it's a close up of spotted gum bark. You can see the world in them.

The extra is a paper bark. You see a lot in them too when you get close.
