Dogs collect lunch for horses

Whenever possible during such weather, we collect fir/spruce branches at the end of our walk to give the horses. They enjoy the variety and later when the branches have dried out, they chew at the bark. The bark of certain trees seem to be particularly tasty - poplars and ash.
Grey day, foggy in the morning and very light snow but sun forecast for next few days even though it will get colder again. It's a real joy to have clean & dry dogs after the walk!
