What a day it's been Corona wise.

The news that are hitting us from the moment we wake up and continue all day. I went walking this afternoon and saw this painting which pretty much sums up my feelings at the moment. I've develop a real corona anxiety.

- Yesterday we heard that meat was sold out from the local shops
- After that the local police informed that in our area (city of Santa Pola) there hasn't been any corona cases.
- we went for the market to buy some oranges and vegetables. They had a new selling item. Hand disinfectant. Small bottle 12€! Normally one might find one for 3-4€ perhaps. Anyway there's so many counterfeit items there that who knows what they are selling for real.
- I visited our local Chinese shop and it was astonishing to see that the owner stood behind the counter wearing a mask and latex gloves. Also they had put an extra table between the customer and the cashier to keep distance. All good measures to take, but to see it for the first time... Also one customer was wearing a mask while shopping.
- corona cases from yesterday (in 23 hours) rose nearly 1000 in Spain. At the moment we have 3051 confirmed cases and 84 deaths. In our autonomous area the cases have risen with 20.
- It's reported that the Spanish equality minister Irene Montero is positive.
- The Kind and his family has been tested.
- All schools across Spain will be closed from tomorrow
- All markets (like we visited this morning) will be cancelled in Costa Blanca area from tomorrow
- Friends went to store after siesta and all fresh produces were 100% sold out
- Finland's cases have doubled. One cardiologist went to work and was positive and had time to possibly infect nearly 40 people. Of which 6 were patients.
- Finnish government is sitting down and considering how the country should proceed. I wish they'd do like Denmark yesterday and Norway today and basically close the country for few days at least.
- Even Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have it and are isolated in Australia!

I left out a lot. You all know how it's been. No flights between Europe and USA. Trump met someone who is now positive. Well, as the whole virus is a scheme by democrats, he has nothing to worry about.

I can only wonder what tomorrow will bring as today has been like this. This just gets worse and worse.
