. . . but so, so windy.

Newcastle again, for another talk on Rock Art. Gordon came in as a visitor, as the talk focused on Rock Art in the Eden Valley, where our lecturer has done quite a bit of archaeological work. Fascinating it was too. We learnt so much, despite living in and knowing (so we thought) the area so well. Lots more to discover.

On the way back the A66 was closed to high-sided vehicles, but guess what we saw . . .

. . . several high-sided vehicles, swaying scarily in the wind.
