Biddulph Grange & Gardens

A wonderful find today as we were travelling to Chester.The gardens were designed by James Bateman. The area which was cleared of oak trees is now the lake, the routs of the oak trees are to be seen round the gardens in interesting piles. I particularly like the extra which I think looks like a bird of prey!
