Beattock Summit
Just a covering of snow on the hills around Beattock Summit .... L slowed just enough for me to take a quick pic of the sheep searching for a tasty morsel.
Before reaching our final destination, Chester, we stopped off at the National Trust Biddulph Grange Gardens. We didn't have time to see it all so we chose to visit the the most memorable garden, the Chinese Garden and it was certainly well hidden ... if the lady in the ticket office hadn't told us about the narrow hidden path we would never have found the Chinese Pagoda, Jos House, Golden Water Buffalo and painted bridge.
A MUST for a revisit when we seek out the Egyptian Garden.
