A late one....

I was rather surprised to see this one flowering, it already had flowered earlier, isn't it a beauty.....taken with the phone on portrait, I do love that mode.
NZ and the rest of the world are in dire straights.....Black Friday here.  The virus and subsequent lead on affects are getting worse by the hour here.  Our economy is in tatters, the hospitality sector, forestry, fisheries, milk powder etc and the domino effect that occurs thereafter are taking its toll.
We still have only five confirmed with the virus which is good of course.  Many mass functions are being cancelled....and our Black Caps (cricket) are playing our Ozzie neighbours as I type without spectators.  Really weird, but a good call. 
And further to that all of the North Island, and a good part of the South Island have today been declared drought areas (we all knew that, but now it is official).

India.....I received an email from our travel consultant setting out the scenario and asking what I would like to do.  Difficult but a no brainer really.  And it seems our government is going to implement more travel restrictions in the coming days.

It is weekend, I intend to push all the negatives away and head for the hills.....catch up on Sunday night.
