It's a crazy world
While most of the country suffers with snow and ice, we decided to go to the Beach and it was a lovely day too. We must be living in a Micro Climate up hear.
This is Dornoch Beach in Sutherland, North of Scotland. The sea is the North Sea and the light house across the bay is Tarbert Ness Lighthouse which sits at the north east point of Easter Ross in Ross-shire.
We had a great walk round Dornoch and on to the beach, back along the beach to The Castle Hotel in the square. This sits opposite Dornoch Cathedral. There we had late lunch before returning home.
There were lots of sea birds on the beach and in the water, but only another couple of humans apart from ourselves. Temp 2 degrees C. We must be mad, but it was very refreshing.
