Man at work
We decided to make smaller groups of children to spread over all available spaces. Even the playgrounds were divided up. Parents of coloured snot were asked to collect their offspring. Most parents did not understand, saying that it was 'just a cold'. Indeed, in normal circumstances, we don't mind, but it's about drawing a line.
The government said we don't have to close because we, and he meant the Netherlands, are not that international. They obviously don't know that we have children living in Germany and teachers who live in Belgium, at school. How international is that?
I had to do some shopping in Vaals, a small town next to the border to Germany and went by bus. The bus I had to take is a line from Maastricht to Aachen. I noticed a lot of senior citizens going on their weekly outing to the shops in Aachen.
