Weather picked up today so decided to go into the city for lunch.

Fairly good service when I compare it to the horror stories I hear down south. A return journey (27 minutes each way) using my National Entitlement Card) costs £1.50, so its a no-brainer, let the train take the strain. A seat all to myself where I can read the latest Private Eye.

"Down around the corner, half a mile from here, see them long trains run, and watch them disappear"...
