Down by the Riverside

The early morning sun changed to grey, followed by rain.  Just before it rained I managed a quick walk by the river that runs alongside the main road into Truro.  I had to go to Truro for the dentist - a 30 mile round trip, because  after 2 years on the waiting list for an NHS dentist, Truro was the nearest I could get!  It means - allowing for parking time and getting there a bit before the start of the appointment - that a short check up appointment takes me just under two hours, from leaving home to getting back home.  Unless of course, I do shopping or exploring places while I'm in the area!

It's been raining endlessly since midday.  Even on some sunny days I think it's rained for part of them, almost every day since the start of February!
