Here Comes the Sun
At last a lovely sunny day here in Clevedon and in this sort of panorama shot the boats at Clevedon Pill float on their reflections. Behind them, the headland is Wain's Hill, site of an Iron Age fort, and at the right of the picture is St Andrew's Church. Behind the church and over Wain's Hill is Poet's Walk, commemorating the poets that have visited Clevedon. Samuel Taylor Coleridge spent his honeymoon and wrote the poem "the Eolian Harp" here in 1795; the cottage still stands and I will add a photo soon. Tennyson visited here in 1834.
